Frequently Asked Question for GC LAU-MUN 2008
Q: Who are the delegates that will participate in the conference?
A: All the delegates who are currently participating in GC LAU-MUN, in addition to a few that have already participated in GC LAU-MUN 2007 and around 30 regional delegates.
Q: What is the first day of the conference on Friday the 18th of April?
A: The first day will be the Opening Ceremony of the program that will be held at the UNESCO Palace. On that day, students' registration will take place and important speakers will inaugurate the conference.
Q: How many sessions will there be in the committees during the conference?
A: Each committee will undertake 4 sessions; 2 sessions each day separated by a lunch break.
Q: Who will be part of the Dias?
A: The Dias will be formed of your current trainers along with the GC LAU-MUN Staff.
Q: Do we need to bring anything in specific with us?
A: No there is nothing that you need to bring; only your research. Computers, printers, and other logistics will be given by the university.
Q: When do we get our placards?
A: Your placards will be distributed during the registration.
Q: Who is supposed to register our names and school?
A: The Head Delegate will be in charge do the above mentioned task. It is up to the school to identify the delegate.
Q: How many position papers should we have?
A: You should have 2 position papers, 1 on each topic, which you will give to the Chair during the 1st session of the committee.
